At Atlassian, we are shaping the Strategy Collection product—the AI-native portfolio management suite (Focus, Talent, Align) that ties strategic bets to delivery work and financials. You will lead a diverse design team in a high-ambition, 0-to-1 space, partnering with Product and Engineering to craft intuitive, enterprise-grade experiences.

You’ll own the design vision, drive craft standards, and advocate for executive users, delivering clarity and impact across the platform.

Qualifications

• Experience managing and scaling teams of senior ICs and/or design managers.
• A portfolio demonstrating consumer-grade craft and the ability to simplify complex systems into intuitive workflows.
• Proven success operating in nascent, high-ambiguity 0-to-1 environments.
• Hands-on experience applying modern AI tools to prototyping, exploration, or product features.
• Fluency in B2B/enterprise domains such as strategic planning, portfolio governance, analytics, workforce capacity, or financial tracking.

Responsibilities

• Partner as an equal with Product and Engineering leadership on roadmap, prioritization, and strategic bets.
• Champion AI-native design workflows—rapid prototyping, data-driven validation, and compressed discovery-to-delivery cycles.
• Advocate for C-suite, transformation, and portfolio-manager users, ensuring the product earns their trust and delivers actionable clarity.

Your Future Team

You'll lead design for Strategy Collection, Atlassian's AI-native Strategic Portfolio Management suite - Focus, Talent, and Align, powered by Rovo - that connects strategic bets, workforce capacity, delivery work, and financials into a single living operational view. This is a 0-to-1, executive-sponsored space where you'll define how leaders at the world's largest enterprises see, sense, and steer their businesses.

Minimum Qualifications

Pay Ranges

• Zone A: $221,400 - $289,050
• Zone B: $199,260 - $260,145
• Zone C: $183,762 - $239,912
