Job summary

Linesight is seeking a Senior Design Manager in Indianapolis to lead design teams through complex project delivery. You will ensure high quality design packages, coordinate with partners, and drive value across stages of the Capital Project Delivery Process.

The role requires leadership of multidisciplinary teams, strong communication with clients, and a focus on delivering on-time, on-budget outcomes in a dynamic environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering required; master’s in engineering management or business admin advantageous.
• Experience in engineering and/or project management for large-scale projects.
• Strong ability to manage priorities, deadlines and diverse teams.

Responsibilities

• Manage delivery of design packages and ensure business benefits.
• Coordinate with project partners to meet scope, time, cost and quality.
• Lead a design team ensuring all project stages follow the Capital Project Delivery Process.
• Develop robust reporting for timely decision making.
• Own the design change register and obtain authorization for scope changes.

The Opportunity

In this role you will:

• Manage the successful delivery of the design packages and ensurethat the business benefit is delivered
• Coordinate with projectpartnersto ensure the delivery is within scope, on time, using agreed resources and is to a high quality
• Lead a team of design members, ensuring that the requirements of all project stages are deliveredin accordance withthe Capital Project Delivery Process
• Develop robust reporting to ensuretimelydecision-making
• Own the design change register, identifying & reviewing any changes and obtaining the required authorization for changes in scope
• Ensure design documents are complete, updated and stored appropriately at all stages
• Seek new areas for improvement through active reviews of the design packages, communicating good practices and lessons learned

• Have aBachelor’sdegree in an engineering field, with anadditionalMaster’s degree in engineering management, technical management or business administration a distinct advantage
