Consensys is hiring a Senior Design Engineer to support MetaMask, the leading crypto wallet. You will turn complex flows into simple, delightful interfaces across our app and browser extension.

You'll build in React and React Native with pixel-perfect execution, contribute to our design system, and craft animations and micro-interactions that feel intentional. This fully remote role places you on a global team building Web3 products for millions of users.

US pay range: $149,000-$210,000 USD.

Qualifications

• Portfolio demonstrating delightful, polished interfaces and interactions.
• Proven track record shipping high-traffic, consumer-facing products in React and React Native.
• Fluency in modern JS/TypeScript.
• Strong Figma literacy.
• Good judgment about when to polish and when to ship.
• Comfortable working autonomously across a distributed, global team.
• Hands-on experience with crypto wallets, blockchain, or related Web3 products.

Responsibilities

• Build pixel-perfect interfaces in React and React Native, with obsessive attention to detail.
• Design and implement animations and micro-interactions that make every tap feel considered.
• Translate Figma designs into accessible, production-ready experiences with minimal handoff friction.
• Build agentic workflows and tooling that speed up design-to-code and day-to-day engineering work.
• Grow the MetaMask design system: reusable, accessible components built to scale across platforms.
• Move from idea to prototype fast and validate with real users.
• Push for craft everywhere - the small animation nobody asked for that makes an interaction click.
