Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering required.
• 3–5+ years designing overhead cranes or heavy fabrication.
• Experience in a manufacturing or welding environment is preferred.
• Able to read and interpret BOMs.
• Proficient in CAD software (AutoCAD/SolidWorks).
• Proficient with Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Prepare design orders and generate CAD drawings and 3D models for manufacturing.
• Participate in creating engineering docs and review outputs.
• Design and model custom crane systems that are safe, efficient, and compliant with standards.
• Collaborate with Design and Manufacturing Engineers to improve safety and productivity.
• Produce approval drawings for customer orders in a timely manner.
• Work under pressure, meet deadlines, and multitask effectively.
• Communicate with on-site team members.
• Identify parts and equipment needed for tasks.
• Maintain punctuality and attendance to support schedules.
• Fill out paperwork and count components accurately.
• Be flexible to assist other departments and work overtime if required.
