Job summary

Consensys is seeking a Senior Design Engineer to join the Design team, supporting MetaMask—the most used wallet in crypto. This role turns complex flows into simple, delightful experiences across app and browser extension, working with designers, engineers, and product managers to move ideas from prototype to production.

You’ll build in React and React Native with pixel‑perfect execution, contribute to the design system, and craft micro‑interactions that make every interaction feel considered.

Qualifications

• Portfolio demonstrating delightful interfaces and interactions with motion and detail.
• Proven track record shipping high-traffic consumer products in React and React Native.
• Fluency in modern JS/TypeScript and cross‑platform frontend architecture.
• Strong eye for interaction design and motion; know when animations add value.
• Excellent reading of design files; strong Figma literacy.
• Good judgment on polish vs. shipping and ability to work autonomously in a distributed team.
• Hands-on experience with crypto wallets, blockchain, or Web3.

Responsibilities

• Build pixel-perfect interfaces in React and React Native with attention to detail.
• Design and implement animations and micro-interactions that feel thoughtful.
• Translate Figma designs into accessible, production-ready experiences with minimal handoff friction.
• Build agentic workflows and tooling to speed up design-to-code and day-to-day engineering work.
• Grow the MetaMask design system with reusable, accessible components across platforms.
• Move from idea to prototype quickly and validate with real users.
• Push for craft everywhere, including small animations that enhance interaction.
