Job summary

CQ Medical is seeking an experienced engineer responsible for design and technical development in new product development, focusing on innovative products. You will work with Manufacturing and Project Management to ensure smooth startup and provide engineering input for existing products and ongoing initiatives.

The role requires leadership within the engineering group, mentoring junior engineers, and ensuring quality systems and documentation alignment with ISO standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering ( BS ) from a 4-year college or university;
• at least eight years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Responsibilities

• Designs and develops products outside existing lines.
• Leads R&D investigations into new materials and design/manufacturing techniques.
• Provides input on technical product design matters.
• Demonstrates expert CAD knowledge and manufacturing processes.
• Develops project schedules with project engineers and communicates across teams.
• Generates quality systems documentation (DHF, charters, etc.).
• Mentors junior engineers and acts as CAD lead.
