Qualifications

• Accredited four-year engineering degree; 10+ years of work experience; professional certification or registration if required; some locations may vary qualifications.
• Ability to communicate effectively with management, coworkers, clients and visitors.
• Advanced knowledge of discipline codes and standards; familiarity with ASME, AISC, and regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities

• Develop and review estimates and schedules; produce progress reports and forecasts.
• Establish, track, and monitor material quantities with analysis.
• Develop and review design specifications and criteria.
• Participate in procurement, permitting, and subcontracting activities.
• Perform and check calculations; specify equipment for complex projects.
• Mentor staff; develop training material; deliver seminars and counseling input.
• Analyze problems and make independent recommendations aligned with project goals.
• Other duties as assigned by project leadership.
