Job summary

GE Vernova, Inc. seeks a Services Senior Design Engineer to implement CM&U changes and uprates for 50–500 MW gas turbine equipment, including accessories, flange-to-flange, and balance-of-plant systems.

You will perform mechanical, vibration, and flow analyses, work with internal teams and suppliers, and support testing, manufacturing, commissioning, and operation to deliver reliable designs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Structural, Chemical, or related engineering field from an accredited university with at least 8 years of experience.

Responsibilities

• Execute the design, analysis, or evaluation of assigned projects using sound engineering principles and adhering to business standards and requirements.
• Collaborate with internal teams, manufacturing personnel, and suppliers to improve design strategies and product quality.
• Estimate project cycles and design next generation equipment balancing performance, cost, and reliability.
• Root-cause analysis and corrective action for reliability, quality, and performance issues in existing designs.
• Visit site locations to coordinate with customers and resolve field issues.
