Job summary

A leading manufacturer of engineered products is seeking a Sr. Design Engineer based in Chicago, IL. This role involves solving design challenges for existing and new products and requires a Bachelor’s degree in engineering along with at least 6 years of experience. The Sr. Design Engineer will engage in assessing product specifications, conducting design validation, and mentoring less experienced team members. The salary range for this position is between $102,000 - $106,000 annually.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of relevant work experience required.
• Must be self-motivated with a high level of personal initiative.
• Experience in high volume manufacturing processes preferred.

Responsibilities

• Design/modifies electromechanical/mechanical products or systems.
• Ensure design documentation and specifications are complete.
• Evaluate field installations/use to translate information into design goals.
