What you'll get to do:

• Own SolidWorks CAD data and drawings for door and glass products
• Support new product development from initial concept through production launch
• Collaborate with product engineers, manufacturing teams, and program managers
• Apply engineering fundamentals to optimize designs for manufacturing
• Create and maintain Bills of Materials (BOMs)
• Identify cost reduction and product improvement opportunities

What will make you successful:

• BS in Mechanical Engineering, product design, or related field preferred
• 10-15 years in design with variety of products
• Strong SolidWorks proficiencyExperience in new product development (NPD)-not just simulation or tool & die work
• Knowledge of manufacturing processes: extrusions, injection molding, stamping
• Strong grasp of physics and engineering fundamentals
• Ability to communicate across teams and translate technical concepts
• Must have a positive attitude - bring energy and enthusiasm to the team every day
• Must be a team player - willing to collaborate, support colleagues, and share knowledge
