Your Role

As our next Senior Design Engineer, you’ll lead the development of products from concept to launch and collaborate across engineering and sales to support our growing biopharmaceutical market. Responsibilities

• Develop products from conceptualization to launch.
• Collaborate and consult with Test, Tooling, Manufacturing, and Quality Engineers to support new product development.
• Interact with customers and suppliers to assess new technology needs.
• Partner with Product Management and Sales to create solutions for the biopharmaceutical market.
• Lead or assist in resolving product performance issues.
• Adhere to all safety regulations.
• Demonstrate support of CPC core values.
• Perform other job duties as assigned to meet business needs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
• 7+ years of design and product development experience.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills—must effectively communicate with internal departments, vendors, and customers.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• CAD proficiency (PTC Creo, SolidWorks, etc.).
• Knowledge of rapid prototyping techniques and manufacturing methods.
• Strong mechanical aptitude.
• Demonstrated history of design innovation.
• Energetic and enthusiastic approach to new product definition with an educated, realistic business outlook.
• Prior experience designing injection‑molded plastic components is strongly preferred.
• Travel up to 5% domestically is acceptable.
