PRIMARY FUNCTION: Eaton Aerospace in Glenolden, PA has an opening for a Senior Design Electrical Engineer for lubrication system condition monitoring and fluid accessories product design and evaluation. The primary function of the position is design work and project engineering support for both sustaining products and new product development.
The design engineering position will primarily focus on Analog/Digital circuitry product design layout, modeling, and drawing creation using CAD, Spice and/or Altium. 25% sustaining, 50% NPI/NPD.. 20% R/D. 10-20 watts or less .. 10 -28 VDC.
Design decisions will be substantiated with appropriate analysis, trade studies, and legacy product similarities. Phase-Gate product development strategies are utilized for the concept development, design, validation, production, and delivery stages of new product implementation.
They will support product design activities of mechanical and electrical product lines / focus areas by providing sustaining product support, pursuing alternative design approaches and processes when needed, while taking market trends and best practices into account.
