Job summary

Gilder Search Group is seeking an experienced Senior Design Coordinator located in Kansas City, Missouri to lead multidisciplinary design coordination for complex industrial projects. This role serves as a liaison between clients, project teams, and disciplines ensuring successful project delivery.

Ideal candidates should have over 10 years of relevant experience, proficiency in design tools, and strong communication skills. A comprehensive benefits package and discretionary annual bonus are included.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of industrial design, process design, or multidisciplinary coordination experience.
• Strong understanding of process design, equipment layouts, piping systems, and industrial facility operations.
• Proven experience leading multidisciplinary teams.
• Expert-level proficiency in AutoCAD, Plant 3D, Revit, Navisworks, ACC, Recap, NavVis, and related tools.
• BIM Certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead overall project coordination across multiple engineering and design disciplines.
• Serve as the primary liaison between clients, project management teams, discipline leads, and consultants.
• Guide project teams through conceptual design, detailed design, construction support, and project closeout.
• Coordinate process, civil, structural, architectural, and MEPFP design integration.
