Job summary

Mannik Smith Group is seeking a Design-Build Structures Lead to oversee transportation structural teams in Tucson, AZ. This role focuses on leading design for DB/PDB projects, coordinating with multiple disciplines, and delivering on schedule with a focus on client satisfaction.

The candidate should bring 10+ years in transportation structures, 5+ years of leadership, and 3+ years of DOT DB/PDB experience, plus a PE license.

Qualifications

• Licensed professional engineer in applicable states (current or preferred).
• 10+ years of experience in transportation structures design.
• 5+ years leading structural design teams for infrastructure projects.
• 3+ years of DOT DB or PDB experience.
• Excellent client and team communication and leadership.

Responsibilities

• Lead structural discipline engineering teams for Transportation on DB and/or PDB pursuits and projects.
• Coordinate with other discipline leads and internal stakeholders.
• Act as an integral member of the project management and delivery team.
• Lead structural design, analysis, studies, reports, plans, specifications, and quantity tasks.
• Utilize standard bridge industry software and tools.
• Maintain positive relationships with team members and clients.
