Job summary

Turing is seeking board-certified academic dermatologists to serve as senior clinical reviewers for a longitudinal dermatology dataset supporting frontier AI model development. This is a high-impact, flexible freelance role designed for dermatology faculty who want to apply their expertise to rigorous AI evaluation and clinical data infrastructure.

As a Senior Domain Expert in Dermatology, you will lead clinical review on complex cases, contribute to evaluation framework development, and serve

Qualifications

• Faculty appointment at Assistant Professor level or above at a US medical school or academic medical center
• Board-certified in dermatology by the American Board of Dermatology
• Active medical license in good standing in at least one US state
• Subspecialty fellowship training (dermatopathology, Mohs/procedural, pediatric, or complex medical dermatology)
• Peer-reviewed publication record in dermatology journals
• Experience teaching residents or fellows
• Deep familiarity with current dermatology clinical guidelines
• Strong written clinical reasoning skills suitable for peer review
• Ability to lead and document clinical consensus

Responsibilities

• Lead senior-level clinical review on complex or ambiguous dermatology cases
• Facilitate structured resolution of clinical disagreements among reviewers
• Contribute to the development of clinical evaluation frameworks
• Provide expert advisory hours to client teams reviewing AI model outputs
• Author guideline-aligned clinical commentary on cases as needed
• Provide subspecialty consultation where appropriate
