Qualifications
- Typically 7+ years of legal practice.
- Law degree (JD/LLB) and license to practice law.
- Experience drafting and negotiating derivatives documentation (ISDA Master Agreements, CSAs, Control Agreements).
- Advising on regulatory issues related to derivatives, including margin requirements.
Responsibilities
- Provide strategic legal and regulatory advice on derivatives, structured products and trading matters.
- Partner with trading, sales, risk, compliance and operations teams to manage legal risk.
- Draft, negotiate and interpret market documentation and agreements.
- Identify risks and provide practical, business-focused solutions for senior leadership.
