Job summary

Anduril Industries seeks a Senior Demand & Supply Planner to own material flow from raw materials to finished goods and to signal and forecast demand. The role involves planning inventory and coordinating with Purchasing and Manufacturing using ERP systems to ensure timely builds and shipments.

Ideal candidates will have 6+ years in a fast-paced manufacturing setting, strong ERP experience (Oracle, Netsuite) and data analytics skills (SQL, Tableau/Power BI).

ABOUT THE JOB

Anduril’s Planning team is seeking a world‑class Senior Demand & Supply Planner to join our team. The Senior Demand & Supply Planner has an integral role at Anduril, having material flow responsibility throughout the entire value chain, from raw materials to finished goods shipped to customers. They will have full ownership of certain assemblies and product lines, and will be ultimately responsible for sending the correct signals to Purchasing and Manufacturing on what and when to buy or build. This hire will be instrumental in signaling and forecasting accurate demand, planning inventory levels, and ensuring that Anduril supports its hardware requirements via Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) software and other associated tools.

WHAT YOU’LL DO

• Manage day‑to‑day demand signaling, ordering, and inventory for various product lines.
• Identify and resolve supply issues by collaborating with Engineering, Purchasing, and Manufacturing teams.
• Lead Sales and Operations Planning (S&OP) discussions for Supply Planning on designated product lines.
• Work with Business Development and Growth teams to align forecasts with actual demand plans.
• Report on and analyze supply and material health to inform key decisions for Engineering, Purchasing, Manufacturing, and Business Development.
• Develop and maintain processes within MRP systems and associated master data.
• Drive strategic initiatives towards best practices, including demand shaping, advanced modeling, and inventory optimization.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor’s degree in a technical field (i.e. manufacturing, engineering, analytics, computer science, etc.) or business field (i.e. finance, economics, supply chain management, business administration, marketing, etc.)
• 6+ years of experience in a supply chain or production role within a fast‑paced manufacturing environment with complex mechanical and/or electrical assemblies.
• Complete ownership of a complex value chain, coordinating between multiple internal and internal parties to ensure on‑time deliveries and adherence to quality standards.
• Technical expertise including ability to read technical documentation and understanding hardware manufacturing processes.
• Experience with ERP systems such as Oracle, Netsuite, and CRM systems like Salesforce.
• Ability to travel up to 10% of the time.
• Ability to relocate, if not already local to be onsite in Costa Mesa, CA.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

• Master’s degree or other higher education.
• 8+ years of experience in a supply chain or production role within a fast‑paced manufacturing environment with complex mechanical and/or electrical assemblies.
• Strong experience with SQL databases, including building custom queries for production and inventory metrics.
• Proficiency in data analysis and reporting tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or Qlikview.
• Knowledge of supply chain planning systems like Blue Yonder and best practices in demand planning, inventory management, and S&OP.
• Experience with lean manufacturing, continuous improvement, six sigma principles, and big data evaluation techniques.
• Proactive, able to take substantial responsibility across various functions, with a focus on speed and accuracy.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. TS clearance.

US Salary Range

$129,000—$171,000 USD

The salary range for this role is an estimate based on a wide range of compensation factors, inclusive of base salary only. Actual salary offer may vary based on (but not limited to) work experience, education and/or training, critical skills, and/or business considerations.
