Job summary

Stop & Shop in Quincy, MA is seeking a Demand Planning Analyst to join our Merchandising team. You will develop, implement, and manage forecast accuracy within the F&R system to drive inventory optimization and sales growth.

You will partner with Forecasting & Replenishment, Category Management, Pricing, and Distribution, translating product knowledge into system actions. This is a hybrid role with three days in the Quincy office and remote work the rest of the week.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent combination of education and related work experience in Mathematics, Economics, SCM, Logistics, IT, or other relevant subject expertise.
• 3 to 5 years of experience in Demand Planning, Forecasting, Category Management, Pricing, Logistics, or Distribution Operations
• Proficient with Microsoft Office; strong analytical skills; able to work in a cloud-based forecasting environment.
• APICS, IBF, or MIT certification preferable

Responsibilities

• Subject Matter Expert for managing and leveraging the demand planning capabilities within the F&R System.
• Responsible for maintaining the F&R System's forecasting capabilities.
• Partner with Forecasting & Replenishment to translate product knowledge into system actions.
• Coordinate and provide leadership for growth projects within the organization.
• Work with Super Users on business rules, system regression testing, and optimization models.
• Collaborate with Supply Chain, Pricing, and Category teams to enable end-to-end forecast visibility.
