Novartis seeks a Senior Automation Engineer to lead the automation design team at the Durham, NC aseptic drug product facility, focusing on design, commissioning, qualification, and lifecycle documentation for automation systems in a GMP manufacturing environment.
The candidate will have 8+ years in pharma GMP operations with strong DCS/BMS/PLC/SCADA experience, excellent communication skills, and proven project management abilities; travel up to 10% is possible and role is on-site in Durham.
The Senior Automation Engineer reports to the AD Process Automation and is responsible for providing automation design team leadership and serving as a technical subject matter expert for a Novartis Aseptic Drug Product facility.
Location: This position will be located in Durham, NC and will be an On-Site role.

The salary for this position is expected to range between $108,500 and $201,5 00 annually.
The final salary offered is determined based on factors like, but not limited to, relevant skills and experience, and upon joining Novartis will be reviewed periodically. Novartis may change the published salary range based on company and market factors.
Your compensation will include a performance-based cash incentive and, depending on the level of the role, eligibility to be considered for annual equity awards.
