Job summary

Burrow Global Automation in Houston, TX seeks Control System Engineers skilled in DCS Batch Control to develop and support clients’ process control systems and operational technology. In-office engineering design, documentation, and configuration cover upgrades, expansions, migrations, and commissioning; on-site support ranges from maintenance to modernization projects across energy industries.

You will lead design, development, and installation of control systems, mentor Automation engineers,

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Chemical, Electrical, Instrument, Computer Engineering or similar discipline.
10+ years of experience implementing Batch automation projects, preferably Emerson DeltaV.
15+ years of experience in Oil & Gas, Chemicals or adjacent markets.
Legally authorized to work in the United States, without sponsorship.

Responsibilities

Lead design, development, and installation of control systems, mentoring engineers.
Lead automation on capital projects, testing, and modernization of new systems.
Demonstrate knowledge as a Batch Control SME.
Consult with clients on hardware types, uses, and limitations; guide technology choices.
Participate in business development activities with key clients.
Meet with clients as SME and represent Burrow Global professionally.
Provide technical support, problem solving, and continuous improvement for control systems.
Position is 50-75% embedded support in the Deer Park, TX area.
