Job summary

VML in Atlanta, United States, seeks a Managing Director, Delivery to lead a multi-disciplinary program for a major client in a highly regulated sector. This senior, client-facing role requires orchestration of enterprise technology, product, and creative delivery under strict government compliance.

You will coach the program management team, align roadmaps, manage dependencies, and drive SAFe evolution from Essential to Large Solution or Full, focusing on governance, risk, and value delivery.

Qualifications

• 12+ years in delivery / program leadership, PMO, and/or client leadership.
• Hands-on SAFe evolution experience — Large Solution and/or Full SAFe.
• Enterprise / cross-track program leadership on large, multi-disciplinary programs that blend enterprise technology, product, and integrated creative.
• Comfort with technology and compliance-heavy delivery — familiarity with cloud migration (e.g. AWS) and regulated environments.
• Financial and pricing rigor — defensible estimation, rate/scope discipline, profitability and utilization management.
• Partnership / vendor management across multiple technology and platform partners.
• Strong PM operations skillset — meeting management, action-item capture, prioritization, and governance.
• Interest in AI and how to leverage it as a delivery tool.

Responsibilities

• People: Lead, coach, and grow the Delivery capability; align the program management team with other leads.
• Program Orchestration: Own enterprise cross-track view; manage dependencies and inform roadmaps.
• Transformation & Process: Evolve SAFe practice and convert strategy into actionable governance; leverage AI where possible.
• Scope, Pricing & Financials: Lead scope planning, defensible estimates, budgeting, and profitability during growth.
