Role

The Amazon Web Services Professional Services (ProServe) team seeks a skilled Delivery Consultant to design, implement, and manage AWS solutions that meet technical requirements and business objectives. You will help drive customer success through the cloud journey, providing technical expertise and best practices throughout the project lifecycle. You will architect complex, scalable, and secure solutions using AWS products and services, collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements, assess current infrastructure, and propose migration strategies to AWS. You will act as a trusted advisor on industry trends and emerging technologies, lead the implementation process, and manage risks and performance optimization.

The AWS Professional Services organization is a global team that helps customers realize desired business outcomes when using the AWS Cloud, working with customer teams and the AWS Partner Network (APN) to execute enterprise cloud computing initiatives.

Key responsibilities

• Designing, implementing, and building complex, scalable, and secure GenAI and ML applications and models built on AWS tailored to customer needs
• Providing technical guidance and implementation support throughout project delivery, with a focus on using AWS AI/ML services
• Collaborating with customer stakeholders to gather requirements and propose effective model training, building, and deployment strategies
• Acting as a trusted advisor to customers on industry trends and emerging technologies
• Sharing knowledge within the organization through mentoring, training, and creating reusable artifacts

Basic Qualifications

• 5+ years of cloud-based solution (AWS or equivalent) experience in systems, networks, and operating systems
• Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, mathematics or equivalent
• Experience in software development with object-oriented languages
• 4+ years of experience hosting and deploying GenAI/ML solutions (training, fine-tuning, and inferences)

Preferred Qualifications

• AWS Professional level certification
• Masters or PhD in computer science or related technical field
• Strong working knowledge of deep learning, machine learning and statistics
• Experience with AWS services such as SageMaker, Bedrock, EMR, S3, OpenSearch, Step Functions, Lambda, and EC2
• Hands-on experience with deep learning models and distributed training
• Strong communication skills with ability to explain mathematical concepts to non-experts
• Knowledge of security and compliance standards (e.g., HIPAA, GDPR)
