Job summary

Amazon Web Services, Inc. is seeking a Principal Delivery Consultant, Emerging Technologies — Sports, Media and Entertainment.

You will lead strategic engagements, shape architectures, and oversee production AI/ML solutions across sports and media customers. The role focuses on discovery, target-state architectures, RAG/prompt engineering, and agentic workflow orchestration, with a track record of delivering scalable cloud solutions and mentoring teams.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of cloud architecture experience.
• Experience in Sports, Media, Entertainment industries, including familiarity with broadcast/OTT content delivery workflows or venue operations.
• Experience building and deploying production AI/ML solutions, including ML training/inference pipelines, data platform architectures, or media processing workflows.
• Experience delivering generative AI solutions to production, including RAG architectures, prompt engineering, foundation model integration, or agentic workflow orchestration.

Responsibilities

• Owning the full engagement lifecycle for Sports, Media, and Entertainment customers: leading discovery sessions, defining target-state architectures, building proof-of-concept solutions, designing and implementing production-grade cloud solutions, and ensuring adherence to Well-Architected best practices.
• Building and deploying AI/ML solutions including ML training and inference pipelines, RAG architectures with prompt engineering, agentic workflow orchestration, and media processing workflows for industry use cases such as fan engagement, venue operations, content workflows, and media production.
• Designing and implementing data platform solutions using lakehouse and medallion architectures, streaming pipelines, and open table formats to support analytics and AI workloads for sports and media customers.
• Building reusable architectural artifacts, developing new design patterns by identifying trends across the vertical, and partnering with AWS Service teams on roadmap priorities.
• Mentoring team members, leading knowledge-sharing initiatives, and contributing to the practice's emerging technology roadmap to grow organizational capabilities.
