Job summary

Leidos is seeking a Sr. Defensive Cyber Operations Analyst for the GSM-O II program to support the DISA Joint Operations Center at Fort Meade, Maryland.

You will monitor networks continuously, triage incidents, and coordinate threat-informed remediation with cross-functional teams. The role requires an active DoD TS/SCI clearance, WRC 511 Intermediate certification, 8+ years of experience, and proficiency with SIEM tools (ArcSight, Splunk, Elastic Stack).

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related discipline; 8+ years of education/experience; additional years accepted in lieu of a degree.
• Active DoD TS/SCI Clearance.
• DoD-8140 WRC 511 Intermediate certification to start.
• SIEM tools experience (ArcSight, Splunk, Elastic, etc.).
• Knowledge of network and application protocols, cyber vulnerabilities and exploitation techniques and cyber threat/adversary methodologies (TTPs).
• Computer Network Defense (CND) experience within a Computer Incident Response organization; able to apply cybersecurity principles.

Responsibilities

• Execute continuous network monitoring and incident handling/problem resolution.
• Triage events, incidents, and assist with AO-specific trends.
• Support cross-functional forums to achieve prioritized vulnerability scoring and mitigation.
• Support development, coordination, release, and compliance of orders.
• Provide threat analysis and recommendations in coordination with the Cross Functional Fusion Team.
• Leverage intelligence and operational data to identify threats and reduce exposure to vulnerabilities.
• Identify problems, evaluate information, and produce timely technical recommendations for senior leadership.
• Engage with customers and mission partners to anticipate needs and deliver flawlessly.
