Job summary

DCS Corporation is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to design, develop, integrate, test, and sustain software for Navy EW and shipboard systems. You will contribute to real-time applications, combat-system interfaces, modeling and simulation, and containerized environments.

The ideal candidate brings a strong software discipline, experience with mission-critical defense systems, and the ability to work within a collaborative, growth-minded team. U.S.

Qualifications

• U.S. Citizenship is required.
• Bachelor or higher degree from an accredited university in engineering, computer/software engineering or computer science plus 10 years of experience in software design, development and engineering applied to program and system level development.
• Active Secret Security Clearance.
• 5 years of demonstrated experience in weapons systems, EW, shipboard systems and related software.
• Experience with real-time systems, modeling/simulation, IV&V, and containerized environments.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, integrate, test, and sustain software for Navy EW and shipboard systems.
• Work on real-time applications, combat-system interfaces, modeling and simulation.
• Develop software to communicate with hardware using protocols such as TCP/IP and UDP.
• Operate in containerized environments (Docker/Podman) and adhere to DoD software practices.
• Collaborate within cross-functional teams and adhere to Agile processes.
