Job summary

Everforth ECS in Arlington, VA seeks a Functional Expert II to support a DARPA program manager from our local office. The role involves leading activities in project management, risk analysis, test coordination, and coordination with DoD stakeholders for successful transition.

The position requires a Master’s degree, an active DoD Secret clearance or ability to obtain one, and 12+ years of experience in complex R&D program management, including large defense contracts and cross-functional teams.

Qualifications

• Master's degree required.
• Active DoD Secret clearance or ability to obtain one.
• 12+ years of experience in defense-focused program management.
• Experience managing large defense R&D contracts and multiple technical teams.
• DARPA program experience is highly desirable.
• Area of concentration: Engineering and AI/ML.
• Senior PM with regulatory authority and leadership in complex R&D environments.

Responsibilities

• Support a DARPA program manager across project management, risk analysis, and IV&V coordination.
• Coordinate meetings, assess performer progress, and project outcomes with DoD and DARPA entities.
• Develop point papers, slide decks, and materials conveying status and importance of the program.
