Job summary

SAIC seeks a Senior Program Analyst to support the Defense Nuclear Weapons School (DNWS) at Kirtland AFB, NM. This on-site role oversees the Advise and Assist portfolio and provides program leadership to advance training and education initiatives.

The candidate will supervise staff, align department strategy with client goals, and produce briefings and written analyses for Higher Headquarters, helping deliver its mission across national security and interagency partners.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field with over 10 years of experience.
• Experience in national security, strategy, and policy analysis.
• 5 years of program or project management in federal or national security settings.
• Active DoD Secret clearance; ability to obtain Top Secret.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Experience with MS Office suite.
• Ability to coordinate with diverse partners and leaders.
• Knowledge of US Nuclear Enterprise policies.

Responsibilities

• Advise on department strategy and operations while facilitating stakeholder engagement.
• Supervise 8 direct reports and oversee a $1.5M Advise and Assist portfolio.
• Translate client requirements into operational objectives for the A&A team.
• Produce briefings and analyses for Higher Headquarters.
• Foster interdepartmental communications and culture.
