• Experience with legislative and regulatory documents.
• Knowledge of the legislative and regulatory process.

Responsibilities

• Review and analyze congressional hearing transcripts and prepare Questions for the Record (QFR) and Inserts for the Record (IFR).
• Monitor the status of defense legislation, hearing activity, markups, and floor actions.
• Prepare client staff for congressional hearings and respond to inquiries.
• Coordinate with government officials to obtain review and approval.
• Research and write background papers, talking points, and written/verbal statements.
• Provide legislative briefings to senior leadership.
