Qualifications

Minimum 5-7 years of experience with the DoD or DON programs in FIR, CFIUS support, outbound investment, and non-notify reviews.

Responsibilities

Lead strategic threat and trend analyses on China’s investment patterns, industrial policies, and impacts on the defense industrial base.
Monitor and analyze global economic trends to provide strategic foresight for the DON.
Own and define the Economic Readiness framework and briefing senior leaders on sector health.
Conduct economic suitability and risk assessments for sensitive transactions and analyse policy impacts on macro/micro outcomes.
Coordinate team work, ensure rigorous quality control, and chair the Analytic Review Meeting.
