Job summary

Salesforce is seeking a senior data scientist to shape product strategy through quantitative analysis and autonomous AI workflows. You will partner with product, engineering and data leadership to build scalable analytics, evaluate agents, and deliver actionable insights that drive adoption.

This role requires strong Python/R, advanced SQL, and a Master’s or equivalent in a quantitative field, plus a bias for action in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of hands-on data science, decision science, or quantitative analytics experience.
• Experience building agentic workflows and integrating AI (LLMs) to improve analytics.
• Proficiency in Python or R and advanced SQL for data extraction and feature engineering.
• Master's degree (or Bachelor's with equivalent practical experience) in a quantitative field.

Responsibilities

• Apply quantitative methods, experimentation, and causal inference to inform product initiatives and drive decisions.
• Partner with product managers, engineering leads, and cross-functional stakeholders to translate analytics into actionable recommendations.
• Architect, evaluate, and govern autonomous AI agents to automate data science tasks and accelerate insights.
• Contribute to the AgentExchange analytics roadmap and own end-to-end project execution.
• Define, build, and monitor KPIs to track adoption, feature health, and user engagement.
• Provide mentorship and promote high standards for technical rigor and documentation.
