Ampere is seeking a core member of the Debug Tools team to architect, design, and deliver software-based debug solutions for our 64-bit Armv9 SoCs and other processors. You will lead technical ownership, influence cross-team decisions, and help define a robust debug strategy for both internal and external Ampere users.

You will work with virtual platforms, emulation, post-silicon validation, and platform teams to ensure high-quality debugging capabilities.

Formación

• 8+ years of related experience, or 5+ years with a Master’s degree, or 3+ years with a PhD.
• Proficiency with Arm architecture and ecosystem (Armv8-a/v9-a, v7-m).
• Proficiency in C/C++, Python, and Bash programming.
• Experience using Arm Development Studio, TRACE32 PowerView, and GDB debuggers.
• Experience with instruction/bus/scan traces and crash capture.

Responsabilidades

• Architect, design, develop, and deploy software-based Debug Tools for 64-bit Armv9 SoCs.
• Invent new debug tools and techniques for future products.
• Influence architecture decisions with knowledge of internal/external debug tools.
• Develop tooling for advanced debugging: traces, dumps, and bootstrapping.
