Job summary

Renesas Electronics is seeking an experienced Senior Application Engineer to drive validation, implementation, and optimization of DDR5 memory systems, focusing on digital and power efficiency. You will work with cross-functional teams to meet quality and reliability standards for DDR5 power systems.

You will validate products, perform system-level analyses, and develop tools to analyze DDR5 power consumption across chip, board, and system levels, while supporting customers and documenting

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
• 4+ years in power management, memory system design, or related areas; 3+ years in DDR5 or similar high-speed memories is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Validate new DDR5 power modules and memory systems, with bench measurements to verify functionality.
• Analyze DDR5 modules at system level to improve power efficiency without sacrificing performance.
• Develop and maintain bench automation software and analysis tools for data collection and DDR5 power modeling.
