Simple Solutions in the United States is seeking a Senior Ethernet Network Engineer to deploy, validate and operate large-scale data center Ethernet fabrics for AI/HPC workloads.

Responsibilities include cluster bring-up, designing leaf-spine fabrics, automation with Python and Ansible, and remote support in a 24x7 model. 7+ years in Ethernet routing, BGP/EVPN/VXLAN, and Linux admin are required.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of Ethernet switching, routing, and TCP/IP networking.
• Expert-level experience designing, implementing, and troubleshooting data center leaf-spine/CLOS architectures.
• 4+ years of Linux systems administration experience.
• 2+ years of Python and Ansible automation experience.
• Experience with BGP, EVPN, VXLAN.
• Experience in professional services or technical support environments.
• Strong troubleshooting, documentation, communication, and collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform cluster bring-up using approved deployment methodologies and automation workflows.
• Design and validate large-scale Ethernet fabrics using leaf-spine/CLOS.
• Develop IP addressing plans and validate topology documentation.
• Build, provision, test, and validate switch configurations in lab and production.
• Configure and troubleshoot inter-node networking in RoCE environments.
• Develop automation scripts using Python and Ansible.
• Troubleshoot network, hardware, and cabling issues during deployment.
• Coordinate remediation with remote-hands teams and data center staff.
• Document incidents, root cause analysis, and deployment outcomes.
• Create deployment records and handoff documentation.
