Job summary

Walgreens is seeking a Senior Manager, Distribution Center Quality to lead the strategy, operating model, and performance framework for quality across its DC network in the United States. You will establish quality metrics, standards, and governance to improve store service, inventory accuracy, safety, and operating costs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree and at least 4 years of experience in a supply chain or business role OR a High School/GED plus 7 years of experience in a supply chain or business role.
• At least 2 years of experience contributing to financial decisions in the workplace.
• At least 2 years of direct leadership, indirect leadership and/or cross-functional team leadership.
• Willing to travel up to 10% of the time for business purposes (within state and out of state).

Responsibilities

• Executes and/or oversees processes and approaches, translating strategic goals into actionable tactics and objectives.
• Develops innovative approaches and solutions that support department and division strategies and implements strategic policies.
• Interacts with senior management on matters across functional areas and stakeholders.
• Creates and fosters high performance culture with engagement, accountability, and continuous improvement.
• Manages relationships with third party service providers, including contract negotiation and performance management.
• Transfers knowledge across functional lines to promote teamwork and empowerment.
• Champions company initiatives and drives engagement across the network.
• Monitors industry trends and regulatory issues and shares learnings with peers.
• Plans, develops and manages departmental expense and capital budgets and ensures adherence to budgets.
