The candidate will lead database design, vendor interactions, and upgrade activities, while ensuring alignment with SDLC and audit requirements. A strong background in Windows/Linux, scripting, and enterprise data management is essential.

Qualifications

• 7+ years DBA administration experience with Oracle, Oracle RAC, Microsoft SQL, and other database systems.
• 7+ years of CNC administration experience with JD Edwards implementation or upgrade projects.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field.

Responsibilities

• Administers the security of databases to ensure high availability, optimum performance, and security of all Database environments.
• Provides senior technical leadership to the database design teams and related IT groups.
• Manages Database vendors and oversees contract verbiage and work requests.
• Designs, develops, and implements physical data models for development/production systems.
