CCS IT LIMITED is seeking a hands-on Database Developer with strong SQL Server and Databricks experience to own data movement and enterprise data access. You will write production-grade stored procedures and build Databricks AI capabilities, collaborating closely with backend developers and stakeholders to define scalable data patterns.

You will drive adoption of Unity Catalog, Delta Lake, and Genie spaces, while ensuring data security and performance across the enterprise.

Competenze

• 6+ years of professional experience with Microsoft SQL Server and deep T‑SQL expertise.
• Hands-on AI-first development process including Claude/Codex or similar tools.
• Proven track record writing and maintaining complex SQL for data movement and retrieval in production.
• Strong query performance tuning, indexing, and concurrency troubleshooting.
• Hands-on Databricks experience including Unity Catalog, Delta Lake, and Databricks SQL.
• Experience collaborating with .NET/C# applications and data access patterns.
• Experience using Git and CI/CD for database and data-platform code.
• Excellent communication with engineers and non-technical stakeholders.
• Familiarity with Azure services related to Databricks (ADLS, Azure SQL, Key Vault).

Mansioni

• Design, develop, test, and maintain stored procedures, functions, views, and triggers on Microsoft SQL Server.
• Write and manage complex T‑SQL for data movement (ETL/ELT) and retrieval for applications.
• Tune queries, indexes, and analyze execution plans to resolve blocking and long-running jobs.
• Maintain schema changes, deployment scripts, and versioning through source control/CI‑CD.
• Ensure data integrity, security, and auditability of database code.
• Translate requirements for .NET backend teams into efficient data-access patterns.
• Review data-access code and queries from application code and optimize.
• Participate in sprint planning, design reviews, and code reviews as part of the engineering team.
• Build Unity Catalog and support Databricks lakehouse adoption across enterprise.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to identify high-impact use cases and measure outcomes.
• Prototype and productionize Databricks AI capabilities and Genie spaces for business users.
