Job summary

Valiant Technologies LLC is seeking a Senior Databricks Developer to design, build, and optimize large-scale data platforms on Databricks with AWS integration. You will implement Delta Lake, Lakehouse architectures, and streaming via Delta Live Tables, delivering robust ETL/ELT pipelines and real-time data processing.

You will mentor teams on Data Mesh principles, drive cost/performance improvements, and ensure data quality across enterprise platforms, collaborating with data engineering,

Qualifications

• Deep knowledge of Databricks and AWS ecosystems.
• Strong experience with Delta Lake and Lakehouse architecture.
• Hands-on PySpark and Scala Spark experience.
• Experience with streaming and Delta Live Tables (DLT).
• Knowledge of MLOps within Databricks and Data Mesh principles.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable data engineering solutions using Databricks and AWS.
• Implement and optimize Delta Lake and Lakehouse architecture.
• Develop high-volume ETL/ELT pipelines with PySpark and Scala Spark.
• Build production-grade data processing workflows.
• Implement real-time streaming pipelines using Databricks and DLT.
• Support MLOps within the Databricks ecosystem.
• Apply Data Mesh principles to enterprise data platforms.
• Optimize workloads for performance, cost, and scalability.
• Monitor and troubleshoot production pipelines for reliability and data quality.
• Collaborate with data engineering, architecture, and ML teams.
