Job summary

3pX Group ★ A Sunday Times Best Place to Work is seeking a Senior Databricks Consultant to join its Microsoft Data & Cloud practice. The role is fully remote across Germany and focuses on designing modern data platforms with Databricks, dbt and Azure, building scalable pipelines and delivering end-to-end data solutions.

You will advise customers on architecture, own the project lifecycle and collaborate closely with senior leadership on modern data architectures.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of hands-on Databricks experience.
• Strong dbt experience.
• Strong Data Engineering background.
• Microsoft Azure experience.
• Python / PySpark and SQL experience.
• Strong understanding of ETL/ELT and data modelling.
• Previous consulting experience preferred.
• Based anywhere in Germany.

Responsibilities

• Design modern data platforms using Databricks and Azure.

• Develop ETL/ELT solutions using Python, PySpark, Spark and SQL.

Location: Remote anywhere in Germany

I'm working with a growing boutique Microsoft Data & Cloud consultancy that is looking for a Senior Databricks Consultant to join their team.

This is a hands-on consulting role working on modern data platform projects, with a strong focus on Databricks, dbt and Azure.

What you'll be doing:

• Designing and implementing modern data platforms using Databricks and Azure
• Building scalable data pipelines and transformation workflows with dbt
• Developing ETL/ELT solutions using Python, PySpark, Spark and SQL
• Working across data modelling, Delta Lake and modern data architectures
• Advising customers on Databricks architecture and best practices
• Taking ownership across the full project lifecycle, from requirements through to implementation
• Working directly with customers on technically challenging data projects

What we're looking for:
