Job summary

JPMorgan Chase is seeking a Lead Analytics Engineer to drive our Databricks-enabled analytics platform in the RM&C Data Analytics & Intelligent Automation team. You will architect end-to-end pipelines, implement governance, and enable self-service analytics for business teams using Databricks Lakehouse, Delta Lake, Unity Catalog, and SQL.

Qualifications

Degree/certification in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Engineering, or related field.
7–8+ years in data/analytics engineering or BI in a regulated environment.
Strong SQL proficiency for complex queries and optimization.
Production-grade Python/PySpark development experience.

Responsibilities

Architect and implement end-to-end pipelines on Databricks using DLT, Delta Lake, and Unity Catalog for governance, lineage, and access controls.
Build ingestion/integration pipelines in Python/PySpark, consuming data products into the Lakehouse.
Design a governed self-service layer in Databricks SQL with curated semantic models and views.
