Senior Databricks AI Architect (Data Masking & Synthetic Data)

About the Rol

eWe are looking for a Senior Databricks AI Architect to lead the design and implementation of an enterprise-scale data masking and synthetic data solution on the Databricks Lakehouse Platform. This role combines architecture, AI/ML, data governance, security, and data engineering to enable secure, compliant, and scalable data management across environments

Key Responsibilities

• Architect and implement AI-driven data masking solutions using Databricks
• Design synthetic data generation capabilities while preserving referential integrity
• Leverage Databricks services including Delta Lake, Unity Catalog, Workflows, MLflow, RBAC, and audit logging
• Implement sensitive data discovery, classification, NER, and context-aware masking
• Design identifier management strategies, including Format-Preserving Encryption (FPE) and cross-environment consistency
• Lead architecture assessments, solution design, implementation roadmaps, and deployment activities
• Drive automation, observability, security, and governance best practices

Required Qualification

• Strong hands-on experience with Databricks Lakehouse architecture
• Expertise in Data Engineering, Data Architecture, and AI/ML solutions
• Experience with Delta Lake, Unity Catalog, PySpark, MLflow, and workflow orchestration
• Knowledge of data masking, synthetic data generation, and data privacy frameworks
• Experience designing enterprise-grade secure and scalable solutions
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills

Preferred Qualification

• Test Data Management (TDM) experience
• Financial Services or Banking industry experience
• Knowledge of regulatory and compliance requirements
