Job summary

Celestar is hiring a Database/Web System Administrator to support the DARPA PSS task order in Arlington, VA. The role requires TS/SCI clearance and provides a competitive package with health, dental, life, and 401(k) benefits.

Responsibilities include designing databases, maintaining the SID Security Control Suite DB, coordinating hosting and backups, and ensuring STIG compliance. The candidate should have a CS/IS degree with 8+ years experience or a master’s with 4 years substituted.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher with required years of experience.
• Experience on Federal Government contracts or within a federal org.
• DBMS administration in a classified environment.
• Knowledge of database standards and business applications.

Responsibilities

• Develop conceptual database designs and supporting docs.
• Maintain and troubleshoot SCS database interconnectivity.
• Coordinate hosting, patching, backups, and infrastructure.
• Set user requirements and monitor security/access.
• Monitor performance and optimize front-end queries.
• Maintain integrity, storage, and performance of databases.
• Refine designs and coordinate new DBMS versions.
• Support STIG requirements and lead data governance sessions.
