Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience as a SQL Server Engineer or database developer.
• Deep expertise in Python, shell scripting, Linux, REST APIs, AWS RDS, Postgres, and MSSQL.
• Strong knowledge of database security concepts including native audit logging, encryption in-transit, encryption at-rest, entitlements, and password vaulting.
• Experience with database activity monitoring tools such as Guardium or similar solutions.
• Hands-on familiarity with PowerShell and Ansible, including automation of security and monitoring tasks end-to-end.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills; able to work independently and in teams.

The Senior Database Security Engineer will design, build, and automate cloud database activity monitoring and security workflows across AWS and Azure. This onsite role in Chandler, AZ focuses on implementing security controls, integrating monitoring automation tooling, and working in an agile delivery environment.
