Job summary

Appian Corporation invites applications for a Senior Database Engineer to design, develop, and maintain scalable data architectures supporting DoD initiatives. The role involves migrating legacy data, ensuring high availability, and integrating with CI/CD pipelines for robust deployment.

You will work with RDMS and NoSQL technologies, SQL/MQL/CQL, and cloud platforms in a mission-critical public sector environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a technical field required.
• 3+ years of data engineering experience with relational and NoSQL databases.
• Proficient in SQL and NoSQL languages (SQL, MQL, CQL).
• Experience with RDMS/NoSQL platforms and cloud environments.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop database architectures and data models.
• Analyze legacy structures and plan migrations to modern architectures.
• Migrate legacy data and optimize for high availability and performance.
• Implement ETL processes to transform and load data.
• Integrate database objects into CI/CD pipelines.
• Develop data generation scripts for testing.
