Job summary

LCG, based in Rockville, MD, seeks a Senior Database Developer to design, implement, and optimize enterprise-scale database and data integration environments. You will work with Oracle, SQL Server, and MySQL, building ETL/ELT pipelines and secure data links across platforms.

You will also develop Power BI datasets and dashboards to provide operational and executive insights, focusing on data quality and performance. 5–7 years of senior experience and cloud familiarity are preferred.

Qualifications

• 5–7 years of senior-level enterprise database development, ETL engineering, analytics reporting, and data integration experience.
• Experience with Oracle, SQL Server, and MySQL including advanced SQL, PL/SQL, T-SQL, stored procedures, and performance tuning.
• Experience applying AI capabilities to database operations, data engineering, data quality, analytics, and SQL development is strongly desired.
• Familiarity with AWS and Azure cloud environments; relevant certifications such as Oracle Certified Professional or Microsoft certifications are preferred.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, implement, and optimize advanced database scripts and workflows to support ETL/ELT and data integration.
• Tune and troubleshoot complex SQL queries, procedures, and jobs to maximize throughput and minimize latency across large datasets.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to model schemas, optimize data models, and ensure data quality and reporting performance.
