The Lead Data Warehouse Engineer will drive ongoing data integration into the AIR.MS warehouse, assessing current state, planning enhancements, and executing data integration across SAP HANA and MySQL stacks.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a technical field; Master’s preferred.
• 12–15 years of related experience, including 7+ years designing, developing, and maintaining relational databases, data pipelines, and OLAP warehouses.

Responsibilities

• Design databases and pipelines balancing functionality, performance, and cost.
• Design, build, test, and maintain data pipelines from source systems into multi-modal repository.
• Act as a team leader, contribute to planning, sequencing, and releases.
• Promote standards, DevOps/SDLC best practices, and operational procedures for pipelines.
• Mentor junior engineers in data warehousing and operational support.
• Lead design sessions, code walkthroughs, and produce technical documentation.
• Tune database objects and pipelines to optimize performance and cost.
• Monitor operations and provide after-hours on-call support as needed.
• Collaborate with DBAs and system admins on backups, performance tuning, and patching.
• Ensure patient privacy and data security per HIPAA and regulations.
