Job summary

Piper Companies is seeking a Senior Developer – Data Warehousing & Infrastructure to lead the design, optimization, and governance of enterprise data platforms in a technology‑driven environment. Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in data engineering, data warehousing, or infrastructure.
• Strong experience with Microsoft Azure (compute, storage, Azure AD, resource management).
• Advanced SQL skills, database optimization, ETL/ELT development, and cloud‑native data platform expertise.

Responsibilities

• Designing and implementing large‑scale enterprise data warehouses and supporting infrastructure.
• Building and optimizing ETL/ELT pipelines across diverse data sources.
• Improving performance and reliability of cloud and on‑prem data platforms.
• Mentoring associate and mid‑level engineers and supporting cross‑functional teams.
• Ensuring governance, security compliance, and participation in Azure cloud migration projects.
