Job summary

Comcast is seeking a Data Solutions Fin Ops Principal within Corporate Internal Audit Data. This leadership role focuses on developing and maintaining data deliverables and reports to support NBCU audit testing, collaborating with peers and business/tech stakeholders.

The position emphasizes analytics, automation, data quality, mentoring, and delivering timely, well-documented results. Strong expertise in Python, SQL, dbt Core, Snowflake, AWS, and AI/ML is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Business Administration, Computer Science, Statistics, Data Science, Technology or Engineering.
• 7+ years’ experience with Data, SQL, Python, dbt Core, Tableau, Snowflake, AWS / Redshift, and AI/ML.
• Minimum of 10+ years of work experience demonstrating increasing levels of responsibility.

Responsibilities

• Lead engagement discussions with Audit leadership and related partners, understanding systems / processes / data / policies / controls, and design strategic recommendations on potential data analytics to support and streamline the audits.
• Manage the extraction, manipulation, testing, visualization, and analysis of data that support the audit lifecycle, ensuring timely and quality delivery.
• Collaborate with upstream source systems to understand potential changes that will require subsequent changes to logic to our data deliverables.
• Drive increased automation and resiliency, expanding the logic within the data deliverables to provide more value to the audit teams and their testing, as well as integrating automated quality checks and alerts.
• Complete data discovery on new data sources, understanding interrelationship of data across systems, and design data solutions that may be unique to a given business within NBCU that supports the desired data threading testing scope as defined by the audit team.
• Develop and mentor team members of Data organization in improving their technical capabilities, communication, project management, critical/strategic thinking, and collaboration skills.
