SpringWorks’ strategic approach and operational excellence in clinical development have enabled it to rapidly advance its lead product candidates into late-stage trials and enter into multiple collaborations with innovators in industry and academia to unlock the full potential for its portfolio and create more solutions for patients with cancer.

Your Role:

SpringWorks Therapeutics is looking for a Senior Data Engineer who is able to work hands-on designing, building, and operating the data infrastructure to support our enterprise reporting and analytics platform. Our data pipelines include the ingestion and management of extensive third-party data sources, data replication from our operational systems, and integrations between those operational systems. This role requires a deep understanding of data integration platforms and principles.

Although an individual contributor, this role is a player/coach, requiring both the ability to develop directly and the ability to supervise consultants in similar roles and hold them accountable to deliver results that meet our high expectations.

Location Classification – Remote:

Officially classified as working full-time from employee’s home office within the United States or respected region, with the expectation to travel to SpringWorks Therapeutics offices or other locations on occasion as business needs. #LI-Remote

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Work independently to design, model, develop, implement, test and deploy appropriate integration solutions within our platform using data engineering best practices and SpringWorks development standards.
  • Support a variety of data integration, enrichment, and master data management initiatives across enterprise scale software platforms.
  • Develop technical implementation plans with duration estimates; execute those plans to deliver quality solutions on time.
  • Oversee the design, continuous development and execution of our DevOps/DataOps pipeline.
  • Produce documentation and SOPs for peer reference and knowledge transfer.
  • Work with Key Stakeholders to develop and refine business requirements.
  • Oversee and own all change management and compliance documentation and deliverables to comply with Sarbanes-Oxley, GxP, privacy or other regulatory requirements.
  • Responsible for daily support of data engineering jobs within the data platform.
  • Continual process improvement to ensure data quality, accuracy, availability, and value.
  • Support both internal and external analytic teams with their data requirements and needs.
  • Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

Role Requirements:

  • Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology or related field of study.
  • 7+ years’ experience developing enterprise scale data integration solutions.
  • 5+ years’ experience designing and managing software engineering/DevOps tools.
  • Familiarity with pharmaceutical industry or life sciences data.
  • Technical experience including but not limited to: Advanced SQL expertise, Azure Data Factory, AirFlow, Fivetran, Snowflake, dbt, REST/SOAP/GraphQL APIs, and Azure DevOps.
  • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple responsibilities and simultaneous, high-profile projects.
  • Embody the SpringWorks Values to act with empathy and humility to drive a culture that takes ownership and accountability for their individual and teams’ performance.
  • Strong interpersonal communication skills to collaborate with colleagues, stakeholders, and vendors effectively and clearly in a remote hybrid work environment.
  • Ability to travel occasionally including overnight stay driven by business need.
  • Relocation available.

Compensation & Benefits:

The expected salary range for this position is $125,750.00 - $165,500.00. Actual pay will be determined based on experience, qualifications, location, and other job-related factors permitted by law. A discretionary annual bonus may be available based on individual and Company performance.
