Job summary

enGen is seeking a Senior Data Security Architect to design, architect, and engineer secure data solutions across cloud, hybrid, and on-prem environments. You will partner with security, data engineering, cloud, and application teams to create scalable data platforms, data pipelines, and data protection capabilities that enable secure enterprise data usage.

The role requires 5–7 years in security architecture and 5–7 years in information security, with preferred 7–10 years in solution

Qualifications

• 5-7 years experience architecting solutions.
• 5-7 years experience in Information Security.
• Experience communicating with business partners.
• 7-10 years experience architecting solutions.
• Experience designing or supporting cloud data platforms, data lakes, data warehouses, or large scale data processing environments.
• Experience with data engineering technologies such as BigQuery, Snowflake, Databricks, Kafka, Spark, Hadoop, or similar platforms.

Responsibilities

• Enhance security team accomplishments by planning delivery of solutions and mentoring team members.
• Evaluate security requirements and perform risk assessments; identify integration issues and prepare cost estimates.
• Plan security systems by evaluating network and security technologies.
• Implement security systems including intrusion detection methodologies and calibration.
• Support compliance to required standards, guidelines and processes.
• Mentor peers and provide architectural leadership while collaborating with stakeholders.
