Enova International in Chicago, IL, is seeking a Senior Data Scientist to own value-based bidding across digital channels. This hybrid role blends machine learning with paid media, shaping how spend drives long-term profitability.

You'll build lifetime value models, deploy automated systems to feed signals to Google Ads and Meta, and partner with Marketing to design experiments and optimize budget allocation. Strong analytic and production ML experience required.

Qualifications

• Degree in Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, Computer Science, or a related field.
• 4+ years of experience in Data Science, Analytics, or a related field.
• Proficient Python programming for data analysis.
• Experience with relational databases, such as SQL.
• Strong knowledge of applied statistical methods and ML models.
• Strong problem-solving and independent work in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Build, validate, and maintain ML models estimating customer lifetime value at early funnel stages.
• Design automated systems to pass value estimates to ad platforms — offline uploads, APIs, and integrations — with reliability and latency.
• Collaborate with Pricing & Profitability to align value estimates with LTV/ROE models.
• Design and analyze experiments to measure VBB impact on acquisition efficiency and portfolio quality.
• Partner with Marketing for channel optimization: budget allocation, audience and funnel analytics.
• Communicate insights and recommendations to Marketing and Data Science leadership.
